Poetry for a cause
Poetry for a Cause is an annual spoken word event that brings together artists, community members, and supporters to raise funds for educational access through our financial aid program.What began as a small creative gathering has, over the past eight years, grown into a powerful platform where art meets impact. Through poetry, storytelling, and community support, Poetry for a Cause has helped provide educational assistance to students across 10 communities in two counties in Liberia, while also amplifying the voices of writers, poets, and changemakers.
Liberia Literacy Project
The Liberia Literacy Project is literacy and creative writing initiative designed to strengthen reading, writing, and critical thinking skills among young people. Through school partnerships, workshops, and arts-based learning experiences, we create spaces where students can explore language, storytelling, and self-expression. Beyond building writing skills, the project nurtures confidence, curiosity, and voice, helping young people develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their communities, and the world around them.
